These terms cover the text (SMS) messages we send about your appointments. Messages come from the same number you call to reach us.

How you opt in

When you book an appointment by phone, we ask whether you would like a text reminder at the number you are calling from. We only send messages if you say yes. Your answer, your number, and the date and time you agreed are recorded. You can also opt in by asking a member of our team. We never add you from a purchased, rented or third-party list.

What we send

Appointment-related messages only:

• confirmation that an appointment has been booked, changed or cancelled
• a reminder before your appointment

We do not send offers, discounts or promotional messages through this service. Examples of what you would receive:

• AySecrets: Hi Maria, your brow threading is confirmed for Tue Sep 2 at 3:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.
• AySecrets: Reminder - your appointment is tomorrow, Tue Sep 2 at 3:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.

How often, and what it costs

Up to 2 messages per appointment. We do not send messages on a schedule or in bulk. Message and data rates may apply — we do not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply. Delivery depends on your carrier and is not guaranteed.

How to stop, and how to get help

• Reply STOP to any message to stop all messages. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that.
• Reply HELP for help, or call or text the studio directly.
• You can also just tell us — say so on the phone, or tell a member of our team. Any reasonable way of telling us counts, not only replying STOP.
• Reply START to opt back in.

Opting out of text messages does not affect your appointments; we will still reach you the way we always have.

Privacy

The mobile number you give us is used only to send you the messages described above.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We use service providers to deliver these messages on our behalf — our telephone carrier, and the company that operates our automated assistant. They process this information on our instructions only. We keep your opt-in and opt-out records for as long as we message you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can show that you agreed.

These messages are not directed at anyone under 13. You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — just call or text us.
