Threading & Waxing
Trustedeyebrow threading & waxing in West Palm Beach.
A twisted cotton thread lifts each hair from the root — no hot wax on the brow, no skin dragged with it, and a shape read against your own face before anything is removed.

Why the thread, and when the wax.
Threading is two strands of cotton twisted into a moving V. It catches a row of hairs and lifts them out at the root without touching the skin underneath. That is the whole reason it exists for the face: nothing is stuck to you, nothing is peeled off you, and the line it leaves is as precise as the hand holding it.
Wax has its own job. Over a large area — legs, arms, back, bikini — it clears in one pass what threading would take an hour to do hair by hair. So the studio uses both, and the honest answer for most faces is thread, for most bodies is wax. If your skin is reactive, on retinoids, or freshly sunburned, we will say so and reschedule rather than work on it.
How it works
Three steps, one chair.
- 01
The shape is read first.
Before a thread is twisted, the brow is read against your bone structure — where it should begin, where it should peak, how far it should taper. Hair that is doing structural work stays, whatever the trend says this year.
- 02
The thread does the removing.
The skin is held taut and the thread walks the line, taking a row at a time from the root. It is quick, it stings briefly, and it is over in minutes. Nothing hot goes near the eye.
- 03
Calmed, and told what to expect.
A cooling finish settles the area, and you leave knowing what the next twenty-four hours look like — no heavy makeup on the line, no sauna, no direct sun on a freshly cleared face.

Good to know
Before you book.
Does threading hurt more than waxing?
It stings differently. Waxing is one hard pull over a wide area; threading is a fast series of small ones. Most people find threading easier on the face and far kinder afterwards, because no layer of skin comes away with the hair.
How long does the hair need to be?
Long enough for the thread to catch — roughly a couple of weeks of growth. Coming in too soon is the one thing that makes a shape look patchy, so it is better to arrive slightly overgrown than freshly tweezed.
Can I be threaded on retinoids or Accutane?
Tell us before you book. Retinoids, acids and Accutane thin the surface of the skin, and hair removal over that can lift more than hair. Depending on what you are using and for how long, that means waiting rather than working around it.
Will it change the shape of my brows permanently?
No. Hair grows back, which is exactly why the shape is a conversation each time rather than a decision made once. If you want a shape held for weeks without upkeep, lamination is the service that does that.
